Even though Crysis, CryTek\'s newest project for the PC, has graphics that will drop your jaw, CryTek CEO Cevat Yerli has made it clear that they have no intentions of letting it become another FarCry: Instincts. Just like Half-Life became famous partly for its in-game use of storytelling, Crysis hopes to stand out for more than just its great graphics and gameplay. CryTek hopes to shed the image of producing video games with B-Movie storylines; they\'re aiming to offer next generation storytelling for a new generation of gaming.

After nearly a year, Twoplayer Comic\'s original artist is leaving GamesFirst and moving on to other
projects. Noah Kroese\'s distinctive artwork and sense of humor have helped define TP comics as it exists today, and we wish him the best. Twoplayer will certainly feel his loss. Today\'s TP comic will be the last with Noah at the artistic reins, and the beginning of our search for an artist worthy of taking his place. Check out the final Twoplayer Comic by Noah Kroese, named after one of the Internet\'s most annoying aspects: Forum Boys. Best of luck, Noah.

Gunstar Heroes for the Sega Genesis is one of the most amazing action-platformer titles of the 16-bit era. Released in 1993 with minimum promotion, the game never took off in terms of sales like it deserved. Instead, it has attained a level of cult status very few games receive, but developers always hope will occur for their projects. Part two in our six-part Treasure retrospective, this retro review of Gunstar Heroes should make clear why gamers still return to its action-packed gameplay.

Microsoft and Nissan have teamed up to create a concept car called the URGE that comes stock with an Xbox 360 and Project Gotham 3 pre-loaded. (Have no fear, the game is only playable when the car is parked.) The vehicle is made to turn \"echo boomers\" on to the hipness that is Nissan, and the URGE was unveiled at the recent North American International Auto Show in Detroit last week. People talk about photo-realistic environments, but we rarely come close to seeing it. Well, at least from a distance, it\'s pretty clear that Project Gotham Racing 3 on the Xbox 360 comes very, very close. Evilgamerz.com has posted some photos comparing in-game locations to their real-life counterparts, and the result is very cool. We only wish we had thought of doing it first. While we\'re not savvy enough to know exactly where each one of these locations are (besides being in Japan), it\'s clear that PGR3 shows them off with near photo-realistic accuracy. Very impressive.

The Asia Game Show & DEE Asia 2005 had some interesting items on display, but the only gem was a student design project tucked in the back corner. Pebble, designed by Addi Lam, uses a controller that\'s very similar to the Revolution. Only it was built months before Nintendo announced anything about the Revolution\'s nifty control approach. This project was developed entirely independent of Nintendo. For a brief moment at the AGSDEE Asia, lucky visitors had a chance to see what Nintendo\'s been talking about.

We here at GamesFirst want to congratulate everyone working on the King\'s Quest IV project, and a thumbs up to everyone that helped save it. On December 9th, 2005, Vivendi Universal, who owns the publishing rights to King\'s Quest, announced that they would allow King\'s Quest IV to be developed with a name change to, \"The Silver Lining.\" This came about after the gaming community pulled together and made enough noise to change Vivendi\'s mind, who had shut down the project with a cease and desist letter. Kudos to Vivendi, as well, for being a large company that\'s still willing to change its mind from time to time.
