Happy Valentine\'s Day, dear readers. From deep within the GF! Office of Love and Videogames, we are pleased to bring you George\'s latest research, a review of LoveChess: Age of Egypt, the sequel to Dutch developer Artmunk\'s LoveChess: The Greek Era. The multiplayer here is unlikely to inspire extended sessions of sultry romance, but it\'s at least a brief diversion from watching Skinamax while playing Fritz 9. Get the full story here.
And be warned: George\'s review is remarkably clean, but LoveChess features depictions of sex, and the screenshots are most likely not safe for work. (Unless you work at Artmunk.)

One of the most beloved strategy games of all time makes its way to the Nintendo DS. Ensemble Studios\' juggernaut PC series Age of Empires has been a long time coming, and promises to prove once and for all the value of that touch screen. While Age of Kings has obviously been modified to fit the requirements of gaming on the go, the addition of wireless multiplayer and the ability to carry the game with you anywhere should be enough to get any Age of Empires fans interested in the potential. Official confirmation has gone out: Age of Kings has shipped.

Sony Online Entertainment announced today that they would offer the new Sony Station Access program. For a single monthly subscription of $21.99 gamers can access several popular MMOs including Everquest, The Matrix Online, Star Wars Galaxies, and Planetside. In all, over 10 titles in five active online worlds are included in the Station Access membership, and some titles, such as Everquest II, have been upgraded to allow more character slots. The Station Access Collection will be sold at retail for $39.99 and will offer five games for PC and a free 30-day trial of the Station Access subscription. Read more here.

Marble Blast Ulra is one of the first games developed for the new XBox Live Arcade on the XBox 360, and brings to mind nearly everything that was great about the golden era of shareware games, from try before you buy downloadable distribution models (which we like very much) to fun, simple gameplay based on equal parts thought and reflex. The tutorial focuses on Xbox 360 optimization, but we imagine it will work just as well for improving online gaming on any Xbox. And you could apply the network segmentation approach to virtually any computer on your wireless network to optimize performance. The instructions are good and the advice is sound. Check it out.

The self-billed action suspense title was on many release lists to be set free at the beginning of this month; it\'s no where to be found. In fact, there isn\'t even yet word on an official publisher, a fairly crucial step in the release of a game. Remedy, Alan\'s developers and the creators of Max Payne, are hard at work and wrapped in a cloud of secrets and mystery, for the time being. Which leaves us all with the question: Who is Alan Wake? And maybe more importantly, where is Alan Wake?
game: The Da Vinci Code

The Da Vinci Code was and is one of the best mystery books ever published. By combining historical references with symbolic knowledge and a bit of reasoned speculation, The Da Vinci Code paints an engrossing image of traditional Western theology. In many ways, it\'s the ultimate mystery. Now, 2K Games has released the first screenshots of the video game based on the movie, which of course, is based on the book. How well the story will translate into either movie or game is yet to be seen, but some of us here at GF have high hopes; The Da Vinci Code\'s depth makes it perfect for an art medium that can combine pictures, interactive discovery, and an experience longer than 3 hours.

Lula 3D is an early release in the coming wave of adult-oriented semi-mainstream games. Featuring a wacky adventure story and gameplay, not unlike the Leisure Suit Larry series, Lula 3D put gamers in the role of Lula, a porn director who must solve the mystery of her missing stars. Follow Lula on a trail of clues that will have her traversing America in search of porn stars and lewd humor. George is on top of this one, so to speak, and offers up this complete preview.

Gamers who are set on picking up 24: The Game for the PS2 can pre-order at Electronics Boutique or Game Stop and they will receive a free copy of i-Play\'s 24 mobile game as well as four mobile wallpapers. If you\'re into 24 and you\'re a mobile gear junkie, you should check this out.

It\'s been a little while since the release of the Xbox 360 in November of last year, and some of us are starting to feel a little thirsty for new games. Ubisoft decided to remind us what we\'re all waiting for by releasing screenshots of their upcoming Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. This tactical shooter for both the Xbox and the Xbox 360 is looking to be - potentially - one of the best releases of the year. Of course, this wouldn\'t be the first Tom Clancy based game to look good, and then play poorly. Time will tell, but it doesn\'t hurt to salivate a little.

Now, they are hard at work on Cult of Mithras, an expansion to Legion Arena that combines ancient history and ancient mythology. Now you\'ll pit Roman legions against armies of ghosts, shadow warriors, or fire demons, and fight for your gods as you battle your way to Elysium. Featuring enhanced graphics noticeably better than the original game, the latest screens from Cult of Mithras look great. Check them out here.

XSEED\'s debut title Wild ARMs 4, the American localization of Wild ARMs: The 4th Detonator, is finally here, sporting flashy art, a new battle system, and its share of extras and secrets. But is it worth your gella to go out and grab it? Very likely.
