One thing we love about this job is spotting new games from small, unknown companies, that are going to make big, big waves. X-Files: Resist or Serve Preview
game: X-Files: Resist or Serve
preview | 04/20/03 | Matt James
That gorgeous mug at right can only mean one thing: another X-Files game. X-Files: Resist or Serve should be a worthy adaptation, mainly because veteran developer Black Ops is taking the title in what sounds like the perfect direction: a third-person action narrative focusing on spooking the alien mind control oil right out of you. Capcom\'s radical visual take on auto racing has generated a lot of buzz for Auto Modellista. There is no doubt the game looks stunning, but what\'s under the hood? Devil May Cry 2 Review (PS2)
game: Devil May Cry 2
review | 02/17/03 | Monica Hafer
Capcom\'s wunderkind, Dante, is back, and this time around everything is even cooler to look at, more outrageous, and, well, a lot like what you\'d imagine. Devil May Cry 2 is a good game, but it doesn\'t pack the same wow factor as the original. Click here for more.

Sega\'s venerable Phantasy Star series has found a home on a lot of consoles lately, but fans haven\'t forgotten the glory days of old school RPG enjoyment. Phantasy Star Collection packs more than a hundred hours of classic RPG gameplay on a GBA cart, which ain\'t bad at all. Click here.

Galerians: Ash Review (PS2)
game: Galerians: Ash
review | 02/16/03 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
Sammy Studios brings us the sequel to their psycho future thriller, Galerians. Galerians: Ash drops you right into the aftermath of the first story with nary a hint at how to get going, so this is definitely one for the fans. A gripping storyline might draw you along in spite of lackluster gameplay. Definitely check the review. Click here.

James Cameron Dark Angel Review
game: Dark Angel
review | 02/16/03 | Monica Hafer
It kind of seems like they quit working on James Cameron\'s Dark Angel when the television series was cancelled. That\'s too bad, because this is almost a good game. The fighting engine is deep, but overall shallowness of plot and gameplay makes this one for the DA fans and not many more. Click here.

Hip Screen Pad Review
game: Hip Screen Pad
review | 02/16/03 | Eric Qualls
Hip Interactive brings us a novel little product in their Hip Screen Pad. It\'s a PS2 controller with a screen and speakers built in. On the upside, the screen is really nice looking, especially considering its 2.5 inch size. On the downside, it costs about as much as other, bigger, portable screens and the controller is S-U-C-K.
