INTERVIEW - Dana Bruno of BrunoReport.net
Articles Archive | 11/12/02 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
Dana Bruno runs the one-woman-show, The Bruno Report (www.brunoreport.net), which has been getting more than a little notice recently due to her high profile involvement in the Search 4 E. Search 4 E (www.search4e.org) is a project underway from True Crime Press to utilize Websurfing civillians to help solve the mystery of what happened to the even more mysterious "E" (Ed Sobian, Eric Sobel, or Emil Sobiak, take your pick). Currently there is reluctance in the law enforcement community to take up the missing persons case, largely due to the fact that it is hard to determine whether E was kidnapped or ran away, so in a move spearheaded by James Pitt (the well-known author) and True Crime Press, private investigators have been brought in. The allure of large amounts of money and valuable items found by professional and amateur investigators researching the case has helped generate serious interest.

I am God Editorial
editorial | 11/11/02 | Shawn Rider
In an interesting twist, investigators in Montgomery County, MD are buying copies of Grand Theft Auto 3. Why? Phone calls to the sniper tips hotline suggested a possible connection between the shootings and the game. Ludicrous? Shawn thinks so. Check out his highly opinionated editorial, I am God? TimeSplitters 2 Review
game: TimeSplitters 2
review | 11/08/02 | Jeremy Kauffman
Eidos brings us the highly anticipated TimeSplitters 2, and this time around the game has no apologies to make. The single player mode is great fun, especially playing it with a friend, and the multiplayer mode is perhaps the most robust thing going right now on a console.

Red Faction 2 Review
game: Red Faction 2
review | 11/08/02 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
THQ has scored more than an ordinary hit with Red Faction 2. Building on the original installment of the series, RF2 offers an amazing story of the kind we don\'t often see in videogames. Sure, the Geo Mod technology is still there, and still fun as hell, but this one is about telling a good tale, and we commend its success.

Hitman 2: Silent Assassin Review
game: Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
review | 11/08/02 | Jeremy Kauffman
There\'s something different about Eidos\' controversial new hit: It\'s serious, it\'s graphically violent, and it\'s really, really good. Hitman 2: Silent Assassin has all the ambience, visual beauty, and emotional resonance as a Godfather movie, and that\'s probably a big part of the reason certain people fear it. Our man, Jeremy, does a number on it.

Whacked! Review
game: Whacked!
review | 11/06/02 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
There have been some good videogame gameshow parodies and there have been some bad ones. Microsoft\'s Whacked! falls somewhere in the middle. With nice visuals, lots of wackiness, and online play capabilities we dig it, but overall it\'s a bit simple. Welcome our newest GF! team member, Colin, by clicking here.
