game: Resident Evil: Code: Veronica X
review | 04/02/04 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
Like the zombies it once scared us with, Capcom,'s Resident Evil series just seems to keep shambling forward. It doesn't learn. It doesn't adapt, and it just won't stop no matter what you do to it. Enter Resident Evil Code: Veronica X. While this RE incarnation is new to the Gamecube, it's not new to us. If you missed Code: Veronica on the Dreamcast and the PS2 and can't get enough REwell, lock and load. But if you need something new, hit the C-stick for a 180 and leave this zombie in the dust. game: Tokyo Xtreme Racer
review | 02/23/04 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
Tokyo Extreme Racer 3 has all the goodies that the franchise is know forand it has them in quantity. What with the vastly expanded list of opponents, new cars, and even two new cities, Tokyo Extreme Racer 3 delivers a lot of action for its $20 price tag. The downside? It hasn't grown much in concept and problems in earlier titles have stuck around for this one too. Jeremy gives us the full scoop right here.
game: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
review | 01/11/04 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
I consider Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic to be one of the greatest games ever created and one of the most important, intriguing texts of this young millennium. Copious amounts of dialogue conspire into well crafted conversations that carry real consequences in both gameplay and story. The Xbox masterpiece makes its way to the PC, and this one is not to be missed just make sure to download the patch. But click here before you do, and read the full review.
game: Fugitive Hunter
review | 01/11/04 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
Fugitive Hunter: War on Terror, is a terribly crafted FPS by any gameplay standard: horribly bland graphics, lame and choppy gameplay, the list goes on. In short, this swill isn't worth playing if you get it for free. From a rhetorical standpoint, Fugitive Hunter is propaganda of the worst sort, and reeks of McCarthy-era brutality and ignorance. The game is a must miss, but the review is a must read, as Steffan Ralph DelPiano explores the disturbing implications of Fugitive Hunter: War on Terror.

Mega Man returns to your GBA in Mega Man Battle Network White. This is one half of a pair of titles that offer more of the Battle Network card collecting and net surfing action you\'ve come to love (or not).

game: Lost Kingdoms II
review | 07/06/03 | Eric Qualls
Activision brings us a little bit of what Gamecube owners are dying to get: an RPG! Lost Kingdoms II is the sequel to the first RPG released for the GC, and it shows significant improvements. Unfortunately, it\'s still a fairly brief card-collecting game with a thin storyline. RPG fans should read this review before buying. Click here.

game: Pirates of the Caribbean
preview | 06/05/03 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
Bethesda is sticking with their proven formula of creating very deep RPGs with very pretty graphics and hundreds of hours of gameplay. Pirates of the Caribbean merely shares the name of the film; make no mistake that this is really a stand-alone game hoping to attract some duly deserved attention with name recognition. And there\'s no doubt that this is a contender for best pirate game ever.

game: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
preview | 05/26/03 | Matt James
Bringing the sidescrolling brawler back after all these years, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles looks to be a really wonderful reincarnation of the arcade classic we knew and loved. Of course, this isn\'t all yesterday\'s gaming: Featuring voices and animation from the current series, the new TMNT experience should satisfy old fans and the new recruits.
game: The Suffering
preview | 05/26/03 | Matt James
Midway is getting all creepy on us, and not in a cuddly Dr. Muto way. The Suffering is a dark, dark, dark horror adventure game set in a maximum security prison. Definitely for adults, and scary enough to hook our man Matt in the midst of the E3 show floor, this is one game for grownups who have deadbolts on the doors.
