Unlimited Game Rentals Delivered - Free Trial

Click to read. The GameTap online gaming service is worth checking out. With consistent new additions to the game library, GameTap has been doing a good job of improving itself. Aside from desiring any particular game, the biggest complaint we had was about playing our favorite old console games with the mouse and keyboard. Of course, any serious gamers already own a gamepad for their PC, and adapters are available for virtually every former gaming platform. Regardless of our \'ad hoc\' solutions, GameTap and Logitech have teamed up to bring us an officially sanctioned solution that includes the bonus offering of a discounted GameTap membership.

The offer from Logitech and GameTap is a two part package. Logitech will release a GameTap branded, dual analog controller, modelled very much like the PlayStation 2 controller. The Logitech controller entitles GameTap subscribers to three months of a discount subscription rate. The normal subscription rate is $14.95 per month. With the discount, gamers will enjoy three months at $9.95 per month. That\'s nearly a $15 savings, which makes the Logitech controller a decent add-on for GameTap devotees.

It would be nice to see some other models of Logitech controllers carry the discount as well. Given the variety of platforms that GameTap emulates (ranging from NES to Dreamcast to contemporary PC games), a wider variety of controller styles would satisfy more gamers.
