On September 10th, 2005 the
Women in Games International Conference took place in Redmond, Washington at the Microsoft Campus. It was both interesting and informative, and it\'s a pity that there are not more conferences like it; this is a step in the right direction for diversity in the game industry. Women in Games International is a recently-formed organization aimed at addressing the growing demand around the world for the involvement of women in game development and the gaming industry.
