game: Project Gotham Racing 4
review | 10/24/07 | Chris Martin
Fans of racing games take note: Project Gotham Racing 4 is a dream come true--lots of exotic cars, tons of tracks, weather effects, Bulldog Mode, and a rock-solid career mode to boot. Oh yeah, and motorcycles. PGR4 might be working a gamer niche that is already supersaturated by the likes of Forza, PGR3, and Burnout. But it still manages, despite it\'s competition, to be a furiously enjoyable racer with more variety than it perhaps knows what to do with.

game: Forza Motorsport 2
news | 08/01/07 | Chris Martin
It didn\'t take long for Turn 10\'s gearheaded staff to release the first of, what I assume will be, many downloadable packs for Forza Motorsport 2. In this pack they bring us four cars. The first three come from Nissan and are free for all: 2007 Sentra SE-R, 2007 Altima, 2007 350Z. The fourth car is the second place winner of this year\'s Le Mans: the Peugeot 908 race car - costing 50 gamerpoints (not bad). The Peugeot is also the first racecar (R4-1 class), as gamers will note, that can be painted.

preview | 05/11/07 | Chris Martin
Forza Motorsport 2 is all about the cars. It\'s about loving them, tricking them out, customizing them, and collecting them. The game has, indeed, gone gold, but, not satisfied with that, the FM2 Demo has been released. The Forza Motorsport 2 Demo hit live yesterday at 2:00 a.m. PST, and now, having taken each car in the demo many, many times around Italy\'s Mugello track, we have our impressions.
game: Test Drive Unlimited
review | 09/30/06 | Chris Martin
Atari\'s Test Drive Unlimited brings some of the best and most mediocre that driving games have to offer. With loads of licensed vehicles and an innovative and fun online multiplayer, TDU is an interesting play for anyone into the driving genre. But some graphical glitches, physics-based wonkiness and repetitive game modes prevent it from being our most favorite. Get the well-rounded evaluation of Atari\'s latest driving simulator from Chris Martin, our resident race game expert.

game: The Shroud
news | 03/20/06 | George Holomshek
The upcoming mobile RPG, The Shroud, is noteworthy for two reasons: First, it\'s one of a small group of titles to bring console-style RPG gaming to the cellular phone platform. Second, it\'s the first of such titles to implement GPS-based gameplay. Part of The Shroud\'s gameplay consists of completing challenges located in the real world, a whole new gaming paradigm facilitated by the GPS capabilities built into so many of today\'s mobile phones. George has more details here.

news | 12/06/05 | George Holomshek
At a recent appearance in front of Japan\'s Digital Interactive Entertainment Conference, famed Nintendo game designer, Shigeru Miyamoto, stunned the audience with a single comment about the upcoming Nintendo Revolution: \"There\'s another secret.\" Miyamoto offered no further explanation, but the last secret Nintendo had kept from us was the Revolution\'s controller, and that was undoubtedly huge news. So what else could Nintendo have up their sleeve? George gathers the scant details and tries to put together some theories right here.
