PARTHUS MEDIASTREAM DSP
SELECTED BY NVIDIA
December 4, 2000

San Jose, California and Dublin, Ireland - November 30, 2000 - Parthus Technologies PLC, a leading developer of platform level intellectual property for the mobile Internet market, today announced a licensing agreement with NVIDIA® Corporation for the Parthus MediaStream' DSP (Digital Signal Processor).

The MediaStream DSP is being deployed in NVIDIA's recently announced Media Communications Processor (MCP), a highly advanced multimedia processor delivering broadband connectivity, communications and breakthrough audio capabilities. The audio portion of the MCP includes a pair of high performance MediaStream DSPs executing up to
4 billion operations per second.

NVIDIA's first deployment of the MCP containing Parthus MediaStream is for Microsoft's Xbox. Scheduled for release in fall 2001, Xbox is Microsoft's future generation video game console that delivers superior graphics, better audio and the most intense, action-packed gaming experience available.

"We are delighted to have been selected by NVIDIA for this important platform technology," said Brian Long, chief executive officer at Parthus. "The use of our MediaStream DSP technology is a testimony to Parthus as a leading provider of technology for the burgeoning multi-media market."
