Sony\'s Shadow of the Colossus is the latest offering from the team behind cult hit, ICO. Colossus has been making waves among gamers because of its completely unique game design: Basically, the game is comprised of 16 of the most massive boss battles ever. But it\'s also one of the most incredibly beautiful games ever created, and it features an amazing narrative that pushes the boundaries of what we\'ve seen in game stories so far. Any gamer worth her salt MUST play this one.

Why are we always such suckers for this viral marketing stuff? Sony (or somebody working for Sony) has created an utterly believable Typepad blog called Giantology, which features images and videos shot by \"scientists\" and \"enthusiasts\" all over the world. What is in said images and videos? Just some fossilized and otherwise dessicated remains of things that look an awful lot like the Colossi from Sony\'s recent release, Shadow of the Colossus. There\'s some fun stuff on the site, so check it out.

Heavy.com Launches Fall Season of Programming

Heavy.com has expanded its machinima offerings and broken new ground in the IPTV arena with the announcement of the first-ever full season of broadband-distributed programming. The network has announced several new shows, including \"Honey, I Killed the Geezer\" (created using Atari\'s Indigo Prophecy), \"Tourettes Cowboy\" (created using Activision\'s GUN), and \"Dr. Philprah, Colossus Whisperer\" (created using Sony\'s Shadow of the Colossus). There are several more series slated to premiere this month, and each will see multiple episodes released this Fall.
