Get a Little Gore from Your PSP with God of War: Chains of Olympus
game: God of War: Chains of Olympus
review | 03/31/08 | Shawn Rider
Everyone\'s favorite bloodthirsty Spartan is back, and, as usual, he\'s pissed. In this prequel to the other two God of War titles, you\'ll help Kratos save the planet from eternal darkness. God of War: Chains of Olympus delivers the same insane action and impeccable quality of the previous PlayStation 2 editions, and that is an accomplishment for a title with both a brand new developer (the capable Ready at Dawn) and a brand new console. This is the best reason so far to blow the dust off your PSP. Check out our review.

Too Human Announced
game: Too Human
news | 10/05/05 | Shawn Rider
Eternal Darkness developer, Silicon Knights, is working on a first-party game for Microsoft Game Studios. Too Human is an \"epic action game\" (read: the first of a planned trilogy) in which players assume the role of the Cybernetic God Baldur, who must defend humanity from a group of monstrous war machines who don\'t play well with others. Powered by Unreal Engine 3, this one is already looking good, and with the reputation Silicon Knights has for creating great, story-driven action games, we have very high hopes for this title. Keep an eye out for Too Human to release in Fall 2006.

Obscure
game: Obscure
review | 05/21/05 | Laurie Taylor
Obscure is to survival horror games as Scream was to teen horror flicks. With a cool two-player co-op mode and a bargain basement price, this is one of those "sure to be a cult hit" games that some gamers are going to really enjoy, and others will probably find pretty decent. If you've played a lot of horror games, you should really check this one out. And don't let the Sum 41 put you off.

Kuon
game: Kuon
review | 02/12/05 | Laurie Taylor
Kuon on the PS2 seems like a minor release when compared to the new Resident Evil 4, but then perhaps that's part of its appeal. As an import title that you might have a hard time finding at your local rental outlet, Kuon offers rich import flavors, gameplay, and traditional survival horror control schemes. Does it have a place on your shelf? Read the review to find out.

Hannibal Preview
game: Hannibal
preview | 06/05/03 | Aaron Stanton
Step into the role of FBI Special Agent Clarice Starling as she works to track and capture the infamous Hannibal Lechter. Hannibal promises plenty of creeptastic gameplay by implementing a stress system that works a lot like the insanity system from Eternal Darkness. This could be very cool.

review | 08/20/02 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
Nintendo and Silicon Knights have redefined the 3D action horror genre previously dominated by the Resident Evil series. Eternal Darkness: Sanity\'s Requiem is a true evolution of the genre and gaming in general. Jeff\'s take on the game includes a great exploration of the ways Eternal Darkness succeeds and fails at pushing the limits of what a game can be. Click here for the review.
