Due Fall 2001 for Xbox.

In Azurik, you play the title character, who must save the mystical and intriguing world of Perathia. Azurik is a young wizard, sworn to protect the elements: fire, water, wind, earth. It sounds like a pretty basic storyline. The game world is supposed to be huge, and apparently you’ll journey to all ends of it before you’re done. The weapons system is supposed to be revolutionary, and, as the video clip shows, it looks like there’s plenty of butt to be kicked. In addition, those baddies won’t be so easy to whoop up on because Azurik is populated by intelligent foes. We’ll have to see how that works out. Of course, the thing that’s got us really excited is Adrenium’s claim that there are no load screens in the game, making the play experience perfectly seamless. This is definitely one to keep an eye out for.
