Jeff Luther was an editor at GamesFirst! who helped purchase the site from founders Rick Fehrenbacher and Al Wildey in 2001, alongside Sarah Wichlacz and Shawn Rider. When GF! headquarters relocated to Buffalo, NY in 2002, Jeff continued shaping the site's voice with sharp reviews and thoughtful editorials that ranged from Dreamcast devotion to philosophical takes on the PS2's future. In 2004 he moved to Taiwan to marry and start a family -- as so often happened at GamesFirst!, life called and people answered. Jeff passed unexpectedly in 2024. We are grateful to have this portion of his work, which perfectly illustrates his intellect and sense of humor. He is deeply missed.
