Guilty Gear Judgement is the second Guilty Gear title set for release this Spring. This time, developer Arc System Works will take the series to Sony\'s powerful PSP handheld. Guilty Gear Judgement is actually a two-fer: The disc will include both Guilty Gear X2 # Reload, which has been out since 2004 for Xbox, as well as an original side-scrolling adventure game, Guilty Gear Judgement. That\'s a lot of gameplay in a handheld package, and with WiFi cooperative multiplayer and versus modes, Guilty Gear Judgement on PSP could be the Guilty Gear title to choose.

Electronic Arts has confirmed North American and European release dates for The Godfather, the game based on Francis Ford Coppola\'s 1972 mafia movie classic. Dogged by controversy, The Godfather is almost guaranteed to really P-O a bunch of gamers at least as much as it satisfies a bunch of others. We can\'t wait to check it out for ourselves. PC, Xbox and PS2 owners will get a shot at the virtual mob lifestyle in March. EA also has Xbox 360 and PSP versions in development, but those won\'t be out until later this year. Get some new screens and more info here.

Nintendo has a history of redesigning and refining technology every couple of years. So it was just a matter of time before big N decided to redesign the Nintendo DS (and don\'t be surprised to see another redesign in two years, but that\'s just our prediction). After a bit of he-said/she-said melodrama, Nintendo has released concrete details about the new Nintendo DS Lite, which is exactly like a Nintendo DS except smaller and cuter. George has nailed down the details here, including the nasty rumors that the smaller size has come at a sacrifice to GBA compatability. Get the full story here.

Sega is unloading on the Xbox 360 with both Full Auto and Chromehounds coming out in the coming weeks. Chromehounds is based on an alternate Cold War history that places you in charge of a big, destructive robot fighting for one of three factions. Developed by Armored Core veterans, From Software, Chromehounds has the pedigree to be a very good game. The screens look gorgeous, and we are excited to get our hands on a playable version of this one. Get the details here.

Sega sends word that Full Auto has officially gone gold. This announcement coincides with the release of a bunch of new screens, which we\'re featuring here, and an Xbox Live demo, which we\'ve downloaded and raged through. The verdict is still out on this one-- the demo is a bit skimpy, and we haven\'t gotten a lot of time with it yet. In the meantime, check out these new screens and get the details on this chaotic action racer in our recent preview. All of which lies behind this link.

Though we haven\'t seen much of the Star Trek franchise in the game industry since the release of Elite Force II a little while back, that doesn\'t mean that the series isn\'t still destined for further greatness. Bethesda Softworks, makers of Elder Scrolls and one of the most talented developers in the industry today, has purchased the right to make games based on the Star Trek franchise. They\'ve announced two games, including one title for the Xbox 360, and another for both the Nintendo DS and the PSP. Though they haven\'t announced anything, they\'ve also purchased the rights to create games for the PC based on the Star Trek IP.
