Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Review (Xbox)

August 28, 2003

BioWare's latest foray into the console market has been a resounding success. There's a good reasons why Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has been burning up the sales charts this summer: It freaking rules. Play as a light side or dark side jedi, save wookies, travel to exotic worlds and kill maneating beasts. How much better does it get? Click here for the whole review.

The Future of Videogames 2k4 Review (DVD)

NextGen Videos brings us yet another installment of their Future of Videogames series. The Future of Videogames 2k4 is a stellar improvement over last year's edition, featuring 4 DVDs packed full of awesome game coverage, interviews, walkthroughs and more. If you want to see everything coming out for the next year or so, be sure to pick up this bad boy. Click here now.

Intellivision Greatest Hits 20th Anniversary Edition Review (PC, Mac)

A beloved name in the gaming industry is Intellivision. This venerable system was a major player in the home console world until sometime around 1985 or so. Now you can relive all those good times with Intellivision Greatest Hits 20th Anniversary Edition. The collection packs 25 of the best Intellivision games, all waiting for you to bust your thumbs over them. Click here for more.

Midnight Club 2 Review (PC)

August 26, 2003

Rockstar has busted it out on all platforms, and Midnight Club 2 is satisfying gamers all over the world now. After stellar console releases, the PC version of the game is just as good, if not even prettier on high end systems. Anyone who enjoys racing needs to check this out. Click here for the review.

Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb Review (PS2)

Good old Indy is back at it, this time on the PS2. Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb is a great action title for fans of the Indiana Jones mythology, but not necessarily as great for fans of innovative, invigorating action games. Too bad. Click for more.

Simpsons Road Rage Review (GBA)

The Simpsons' famous Crazy Taxi ripoff comes to the GBA, but Simpsons Road Rage is not as good as we hoped for. Sure, the action is all there, but without the witty dialogue and sweet graphics, this one loses some of its appeal. Read the whole review here.

Drome Racers Review (GBA)

What can we say about Drome Racers? It's a racing game. And it's apparently set in a bleak world of flatly rendered polygons -- spooky! This racer is technically not bad, but it lacks the personality to make it one of our faves. Click for more.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Wrath of the Darkhul King Review (GBA)

Our favorite teeny-bopper vampire hunter is back for more in handheld form. Unfortunately, Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Wrath of the Darkhul King won't erase your bad memories of the original Buffy GBC title. The graphics are better, but this title is still thoroughly at-par. Click here for more.

MS Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight Review (PC)

August 12, 2003

Our man Thomas, the only reviewer we have whose airstrip is actually featured in Microsoft's Flight Sim series, takes MS Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight out for a spin. The verdict: We don't want to spill the beans, but this one should satiate all those flight sim fanatics looking for a little something new. Click here for more.

Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick Review (PS2, Xbox)

The last Evil Dead game was truly horrific, although not in the ways it should have been. Fortunately, Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick does a much better job, but it's still far from perfect. When will Deadites and non-Deadites get a game that is equally enjoyable, no matter how much you love Bruce Campbell and his cute little dimples? Click here for more.

Jet Grind Radio Review (GBA)

Take the DC version of Jet Grind Radio, shrink it down, clip the soundtrack a bit, and snip the graf editor, and you've got yourself Jet Grind Radio for the GBA. It's impressive how well the game holds together in the handheld format. Click here for the review.

Planetside Review (PC)

Sony Online Entertainment looks to build a great sci-fi MMORPG with Planetside. This epic game features tactical squad-based action, loads of vehicles, amazingly cool weapons and items, and one of the best soundtracks we've heard. But that's not all. Click here for the whole story.

RTX Red Rock Review (PS2)

LucasArts scores once again in the story and cinema department with RTX Red Rock. This satire of sci-fi space action games is definitely entertaining, and RTX features various gadgetry, robots, and cool multiple vision modes to make your sci-fi hero dreams come true. Click here for the whole review.

EluminX Keyboard Review (PC)

EluminX has made military keyboard lighting technology available to the masses, and thank goodness. The EluminX Keyboard features an ultra compact design and backlit keys, perfect for curling up with at night. Click here for more.
