impressive compared to its 2-D predecessors.
The ¾ isometric perspective is preserved--now it’s all in

first glance, Europa Universalis may look like the old board game
"Risk" on steroids; start playing and you'll quickly change
your mind. If you must build EU up from an ideal of Risk, imagine that
you're playing it as a final test for your college studies in European
History, Religious studies, Economics, Wartime Strategy and
Government. It is by far
one of the most complex and historically accurate Strategy games ever

have teamed up to bring us a one-two punch of painful goodness. Max Payne will be released on both the

 Infogrames
has definitely outlasted a good number of game publishers in the past few years. In fact,
a lot of folks now work for the French conglomerate. So it's kind of fitting that CBS
endowed Infogrames with the rights to Survivor.

Wars games just aren’t living up to their full potential nowadays. Where’s the next Tie Fighter or Jedi Knight? Sure, games like Rogue Squadron and Episode 1: Racer were entertaining for a bit, but they lacked
the pure excitement of the Star Wars movies. LucasArts,
the publishers of all things Star Wars, is still milking the franchise for all it’s
worth and hopefully Star Wars: Star Fighter
will please the throngs of wanna-be Jedi. Meanwhile,
Star Wars: Battle
for Naboo just ain’t cutting it. |
