If you can't get it, this crazy hype of Microsoft's, out of your head, we have the salvation for you. A "little" salvation. A "tiny" treasure. A "diminutive" diversion. Halo 3 just six days away, and Halo ActionClix invades your favorite hobby store. There's nothing small about it, this tabletop game is going to be huge.

While we here in Seattle get to watch the Mariners crumble in what was a pretty decent year, we also get front page Microsoft news, regularly. Today, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported that the European Court of First Instance, in a move upholding key elements of the March 2004 European Commission Decision, declared the American company responsible for misusing it's Windows monopoly. Specifically, the company packages Windows Media Player with their Windows software, a la trojan horse, allowing market dominance of the software. Microsoft to EU court: "the decision on the Media Player opens a dangerous precedent for other companies and sectors. Airbus should start worrying about adding new features to their planes."

So, in case you missed it, I'm pretty stoked about SEGA Rally Revo for Xbox 360. Some early reviews are in: IGN UK gave it 8.8/10 and EuroGamer gave it a 9/10. Knowing this makes me ache for it more. If you're thinking about picking up SEGA Rally Revo, it's officially out today (09/17/07) in the UK--those in the US will have to wait until October 9th. And if you just want to check it out first, the Demo has just hit Xbox Live. At over half a gig, it's one of the smaller demos out there, but we'll let the gameplay speak for itself.

Tired of news about BioShock? We hear you. While our review is still baking in the oven, getting crispy on the edges, we came across a neat little factoid for all you fans of the old jest: "My game is better, ha, ha!" For it appears that BioShock not only has become critically received as one of the best games of all time, not only this year. According to www.Gamerankings.com, Bioshock has supplanted Resident Evil 4 in the #4 highest ranked game of all time, just below The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64), Soul Calibur (DC), and Metroid Prime (GC).

This came out of nowhere. The studio formerly known as Irrational (they changed their two divisions' names to 2K Australia and 2K Boston) get a big pat on the back for sneaking their demo onto Xbox Live on Sunday. Bioshock, which puts you through the eyes of a crash victim who gets stuck in the underwater dystopia known only as Rapture, just went gold last week. Now, we'll get to sample what we're betting is going to be a ground-braking experience.

game: Fable 2

Some incorporate, others innovate. Peter Molyneux is the kind of developer that makes you want to give him a big hug. He's the kind of developer that is not satisfied with the way games are and insists that he innovate. He is the kind of man who gets an idea and runs with it. Recently, Peter Molyneux, in an interview and combat demonstration with Kikizo, had a lot to say about the state of combat in video games, and a lot to say about how Fable 2 would change it all, forever.

Another attempt by yet another state of the union to pass an unconstitutional bill prohibiting the sale of 'violent' videogames to minors has been squashed.

The bill, which would have imposed a $1000 dollar fine on any retailer if they sold a violent video game to minors, has before now seen preliminary injunction in late 2005, otherwise it would have gone into effect January 1, 2006. Since then the bill was pending investigation...
